The event of the year for music lovers and pop culture fanatics aired on Sunday – the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. Celebrities and socialites all around the world gathered in the City of Angels for a night full of awards, performances from our favorite artists and of course, our own little fashion show.

Every year these celebrities in attendance express themselves with intricate, unique and sometimes horrendous outfits.

The 2019 Grammys will set the stage for years to come with the fashion and outfit choices of these public figures. Here is a closer look into the red carpet and everything you need to know from one of the most iconic fashion nights of the year.

Camila Cabello hit the red carpet with a long pink, high-neck sparkling gown – a mix of formal and cozy all in one. But this was not the look for her as it was not flattering and the fabric gathered in all the wrong places.

Up next is Bebe Rexha, who looked flawless in a red wave ball gown. In an interview with E! News, she revealed that stylists refused to style her solely because her gown size did not align with their fitting standards, which was strictly sizes zero to two. However, she proved them all wrong in this unforgettable gown.

Meghan Trainor looked stunning in her deep v-cut bridal white jumpsuit. She is a natural beauty and still has her wedding glow after recently tying the knot with her new husband Daryl Sabara.

Alessia Cara flaunted fabulously in her edgy black gown with her wavy hair and a bold red lip. It seems Tori Kelly had the same idea as she also showed up in a long black dress with a big bow swept to the back and a pop of red lip with her natural curly hair.

This timeless look will never go out of style.

Moving away from traditional styles, Cardi B caught everyone’s attention after appearing in an extravagant oyster-like dress, which was eye catching for all the wrong reasons. She looked like she would fit in perfectly with the cast of “The Little Mermaid.”

Dua Lipa looked extremely chic in her silver dress with her jewelry perfectly accenting her outfit and she killed it. Similarly, Lady Gaga shined in a silver sequin dress, and there is no doubt that she always slays in the fashion department with her unique style.

Superstar Jennifer Lopez looked like a masterpiece in her light green dress with beautiful stone designs on the neck of her dress, and to top it off, she is wearing a big hat – not a look for everyone, but she made it work.

There were so many different looks on the night of the Grammys, and all of these outfits have the potential to set the fashion trends for the year. The most credit goes to the celebrities who step outside the box and opt for a different look, seeing as the world embraces creativity and originality above all.
