With such a star-studded cast, Cooties follows a group of elementary school teachers trying to survive when a zombie disease takes over their school. But here’s the catch: it only affects you if you haven’t gone through puberty yet.
3. Children of the Corn (1984)

In another Stephen King gem, Burt and Vicky are driving cross country when they end up in the mysterious town of Gatlin where there are no adults, and the children live inside the cornfields.
4. Carrie (1976)

No Halloween movie playlist would be complete without a Stephen King movie. Carrie White, who is shown no mercy by her classmates, finally gets a chance of happiness when invited to senior prom and voted prom queen but when one last cruel joke is pulled on her no one is safe from her power of telekinesis.

Rob Zombies directorial debut introduces the Firefly family, a crazed family of murders living in the backwoods of Texas who cross paths with a group of college students looking for the weirdest roadside attractions in America.
6. The Addams Family (1991)

This spooky family will put anyone in the Halloween mood. A con artist tries to trick the Addams family out of their money, but they aren’t ready for just how kooky and spooky this family really is.
7. Coraline (2009)

Looking for something fun in her new home, Coraline finds a door that leads to another world where everything seems perfect, but everything is not what it seems.
8. The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)

The cult classic from the '70s starring Tim Curry tells the story of a newly engaged couple whose car breaks down near the mansion of mad scientist, Dr. Frank N Further, and they are transported into a weird world of human-made men and time warping.
9. Super Dark Times (2017)

Often compared to “Donnie Darko”, “Super Dark Times” follows best friends Josh and Zack who have their sanity and friendship tested after a horrifying accident.
10. Assassination Nation (2018)

A mix of “The Purge” and “Heathers”, “Assassination Nation” takes place in the small town of Salem that has been targeted by an internet hacker exposing all of the community’s personal information. 18-year-old Lily and her best friends, Bex, Em, and Sarah must protect themselves and each other while their town drives themselves into madness.
