START:
Matt Schaub (vs. GB) – Schaub faces Green Bay’s dreadful pass defense that allowed rookie Andrew Luck to throw for a career high 362 yards a week ago. With Green Bay’s offense possessing the ability to put up a lot of points as well, this game could turn into a shootout. Schuab’s fantasy owners should reap the benefits.
BenJarvus Green-Ellis (vs. CLE) – Cleveland lost their starting middle linebacker and defensive captain D’Qwell Jackson early in the game against the Giants last week. Following Jackson’s departure, Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 200 yards. With Jackson expected to miss Sunday’s game, expect a huge game from Green-Ellis.
Victor Cruz (@ SF) – San Francisco boasts one of the league’s best defenses, but don’t let that stop you from starting Cruz this week. Cruz has led the Giants in targets in all five games this year and will continue to get plenty of looks. He also has succeeded against cornerback Carlos Rogers, who will be matched up against Cruz on Sunday.
SIT:
Ryan Fitzpatrick (vs. ARI) – This week, Fitzpatrick faces Arizona, which ranks third in the NFL in turnovers forced. Many owners have been riding with Fitzpatrick despite his eight interceptions, but this is not the week to start him. He will turn the ball over a few times on Sunday, so start a different option.
Stevan Ridley (@ SEA) – Ridley has had a string of great games lately, but New England has not faced a defense quite like the one they will see this Sunday in Seattle. The Seattle defense has terrorized opposing fantasy running backs, allowing just 3.2 yards per carry.
Torrey Smith (vs. DAL) – Smith has produced a solid year so far, but he will go up against an elite Cowboys’ secondary. They lead the league in pass defense, and will definitely look to keep Smith out of the game. If you have other good wide receiver options, keep Smith benched this week.
