Lacrosse Three-day Winning Streak

The women's lacrosse squad picked up its third consecutive win on Tuesday, topping Purchase College by a score of 18-6.

After losing their first five games, the Roadrunners are now 4-7 this season with a 4-3 record against Skyline Conference competition. Ramapo, who have lost by double digits six times, has outscored its opponents 55-16 during the three-game winning streak.

Freshman Lindsay Hughes continued her torrid rookie season, scoring eight goals for the third-straight time. She leads the team with 55 goals this season, 42 more scores than the Roadrunners' runner-up.

Juniors Teresa Gustafson scored three goals while twin sister Michelle Gustafson sent two balls to the back of the net. Senior Amanda Ferry added a hat trick of her own with three goals and also dished out two assists.

Ramapo will play The Sage Colleges on Saturday and Montclair State University on Wednesday to close off the road portion of its schedule.
