“The Body is Present: Women at Work” features five female artists and their artistic interpretations of the human body. The gallery was a popular attraction for art enthusiasts as well as students less familiar with fine or abstract art. A unique interpretation of the human form is a central theme of the exhibit. A mainly sculpture-based show fascinated and intrigued those who stepped out of their comfort zone and ventured to an art gallery. Among many miniature pieces, there were also larger collage mosaics that busied the otherwise bare wall space. The presentation can still be enjoyed until Nov. 20 thanks to contributions from the Joan Mitchell Foundation.
