One year ago today, The Ramapo News officially launched its website, and we’ve been improving and expanding it ever since.
We’re very proud of how far we have come in one year. Getting a website off the ground, from scratch, is no easy task.
There have been many people who have helped us reach this big milestone, including all of our graduated staff (especially Megan Anderle, Elyse Toribio, Kaitlin McGuinness and Matt Giuliari), our advisers Dan Sforza and Edna Negron, college administrators and, of course, the extended Ramapo community for their support and enthusiasm.
How are we celebrating, you might ask? Well, aside from this Storify compilation of the highlights of our year, we’re taking on a bigger project!
That’s right… we’re going digital for one week, from Dec. 2 to Dec. 6. After Thanksgiving break, we will be covering the news exclusively online to end our semester. It should be a fun (and ambitious) project, in the spirit of ramaponews.com’s birthday.
For now, take a trip down memory lane with us and have a slice of cake while you’re at it, too.
