Ramapo’s Black Student Union (BSU) and Dining Services hosted a Black History Month dinner on Tuesday. The dinner was a celebration of Black history and culture and informed students on how the community celebrates Black History Month. This event was one of many hosted throughout Black History Month at Ramapo.
The night included classic soul food, music, Black History Month games and a wheel for a raffle to win $25 Doordash and Apple gift cards. Food included oxtail, fried chicken, baked mac and cheese, corn bread, candied yams and sweet potato pie.
While Black History Month will soon be coming to a close, there will be final events coming up in the next week to celebrate Black history and culture. All events for Black History Month are posted on BSU’s Instagram and posted outside their office on the bulletin board.
