‘Outer Banks’ season four comes to a hectic and dramatic end

The second part of “Outer Banks” season four has finally been released on Nov. 7 and it has not stopped with the craziness. In the first part of the season, released on Oct. 10, we were met with tons of new information. The season picks up right where it left off and viewers immediately learn that JJ Maybank, played by Rudy Pankow, has been being lied to about who his father is. In a dramatic twist of fate, JJ’s real father is the one you need to keep a close eye on this entire season, Chandler Groff (J. Anthony Crane).

Groff is scheming his way through this entire first part and it doesn’t end there. Since their mission is to find Black Beards treasure, Wes Genrette, played by David Jensen, tasks them to help him find a very special blue crown that is absolutely priceless.

With this artifact now put into play, the Pogues are under pressure to find it with very little information to start off with. However, they are not the only ones looking for the blue crown, a bunch of highly dangerous mercenaries are on the hunt for the priceless treasure. Genrette has the Pogues look for the missing crown, and someone does not like the fact that the Pogues are getting closer to the treasure.

While gaining more information and fighting to stay alive, Genrette is murdered by the “ghost” that has been “haunting” his family and killing all remaining heirs. With Genrette now gone, their adventure to find this new artifact doesn’t need to continue, but they are already in too deep.

The Pogues continue to try and go for the big bucks and search for more information on the blue crown. During the second part of the season, the Pogues are met with challenges. They are trying to get out of the way, but JJ has other thoughts. JJ is one of the troublemakers throughout the season and everyone is on edge because of him.

In the second part, a lot of crimes have been committed because of JJ. He has been the root of problems whereas the rest of the Pogues have to work around him and try not to risk their lives. They are all now walking on eggshells but they are not giving up the fight to find the crown.

Some of the Pogues are really looking for a miracle and are going to do whatever they can to find out where this crown is. But the mercenaries are not letting up when they gain more information that the Pogues need.

Groff also has other things coming. He is not someone you want to trust and that was the Pogues biggest mistake. They thought bringing in Groff was a way to get more information for their adventure. He was giving them the information they needed, but the Pogues were not going to stay around to find out what they were going to do with that information. Groff wanted to use the Pogues to do his dirty work and he could get off scot-free.

The Pogues need to stay out of trouble and stay low so that they can get to the treasure, but that was not the case. They can’t go anywhere without running into trouble and having the police chase after them.

That didn’t stop them and they continued on their way. Once they started, they needed to finish because it was just in their nature. This second part of the season will make you question why some of the characters are acting a certain way. It will make you go through many emotions because with it being the fourth season, viewers have grown attached to the characters.

The fifth and final season has already been confirmed and there are many more cliffhangers to deal with. Stay in the g-game guys!
