Social work club hosts bake sale in support of Hispanic Heritage

Ramapo’s Social Work Club hosted a bake sale that took place on Thursday, Nov. 14 on the second floor of the Student Center. The bake sale was in support of Hispanic heritage and invited students to experience Hispanic culture through food.

The bake sale featured tasty desserts such as tres leches, churros, flan and more that each cost only $5. All the profits from the bake sale are donated to El Primer Paso, which is a non-profit organization located in Dover, N.J. This organization is multiservice and focuses on serving families along with children through dual-language programs and services.

Ramapo Social Work Club brought about the bake sale to invite the Ramapo community to experience a new culture and to give back to organizations that are around us.
