The Ramapo News is a student-run and student-led weekly publication with a readership of more than 5,000 in the Ramapo College community. The paper is published in Mahwah, N.J. on Thursdays when the College is in session during the fall and spring semesters, for an approximate total of 22 issues per year. The newspaper is distributed free to multiple locations around campus and the student residence halls.
Founded in 1969, The Ramapo News has been an independent, not-for-profit publication dedicated to providing the Ramapo College community with news, information, features, entertainment, and editorial content. The paper also prides itself in being an open forum for lively discussion and the exchange of ideas.
The Ramapo News online is updated with most content from the print-edition, current breaking news and some web extras. Nothing thereof (text, photographs, images, or other content) can be reproduced or reprinted, full or in part and in any form, without expressed permission from The Ramapo News.
