The First-Generation Student Center hosted a welcome-back event, bringing students, faculty and staff together for an afternoon of connection and creativity. Attendees enjoyed empanadas and engaged in arts and crafts, including coloring pages, while reconnecting after the break.
“It was a nice event. The empanadas were super good! I had a really good time coloring and chatting with friends,” said junior Joellie Acebo.
The event fostered a sense of belonging, allowing students to relax, express themselves creatively, and reconnect with others. With great food, and a welcoming atmosphere, the event set a positive tone for the semester ahead.
