SGA hosts bracelets and bites event

The Student Government Association (SGA) hosted “Bracelets & Bites” on Feb. 10, an event where students were able to create bracelets while indulging in cookies, muffins, doughnuts and more.

Held in the Alumni Lounges, students were greeted by a table of Rainbow Loom bands, string and a plethora of beads, along with a table decorated with sweet treats.

“They remember doing this … in middle school … so I thought it would be fun to bring it back,”  Secretary of Programming for SGA, Afrona Tozluku said. “It’s supposed to be an uplifting event, let everyone relax, and it’s close to Valentine’s Day so you can make something for a friend or significant other.”

Tozluku said that the event was actually recommended to SGA by a Ramapo student.

For more information on upcoming events, contact SGA at sga@ramapo.edu or find them in SC-225.
