The Center for Health and Counseling Services facilitated Sex Toy Bingo with co-sponsors the College Programming Board and Women’s Center on Thursday. This event was a fun and inviting for students to learn about sex in a safe atmosphere.
The event started out with a 20-minute slideshow that gave the background behind sex and the education behind it. After the presentation, the bingo started with a variety of 13 sex toys as the prizes for those who got bingo. Each round of the unique bingo would have a list of questions read off and the students were asked to mark off the correct answer on their boards. Whoever got bingo first in any of the designs won the chance to choose the sex toy of their choice.
Sex Toy Bingo was a chance for students to get rid of the shame surrounding the topic and make sure that everyone felt at ease when talking about sex. The Center for Health and Counseling Services hopes to host this event in the future and make it larger and better to bring more students into a safe and inclusive environment.
